Evelyn Paris There are a lot of talkers in this world, and...
My name is Garrick Bradley II and I have a passion to help others reach their goals financially. Throughout my college career I have read a plethora of books on personal finance and investing. I spent two years at Marian Catholic High School and the remainder of my high school career at Thornridge High School. During the summer of my sophomore year, I was introduced to the corporate world through the Accounting Career Awareness Program. It was then I began my journey learning about accounting.
Before that program I didn’t know what I wanted to be. At first, it was an actor, then a scientist, and at some point I mentioned to my family I want to be a lawyer. When I found out about accounting, it was love at first sight. Accounting gave me the ability to not only know the ins and outs of a business but also the financial literacy to truly gain wealth. As I progressed through my courses at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign I began to notice how much accounting helped me endure this journey we call life.
I am the oldest of my family and have a brother and sister. My parents taught me the importance in managing finances, investing, and the power of knowledge. Without their guidance I do not know where I would be. They taught me the importance of giving . After I passed all of my CPA exams in 2015 I began figuring out how to help others reach their goals. That’s where YoungWealthBuilders comes into play. I wanted to create something that gives people the tools to truly gain wealth. I noticed that most people only tell the beginning and end of a story but never the journey of how they became successful. I don’t want to do that. I want to show you how to get there. Some people love the beginning of stories, some people love the end, I love the middle.
With my knowledge, I want to influence others to build habits that will put them in position to gain financial freedom. If you want to knowledge to build wealth, you have come to the right place. Also, I love feedback. If you need any help, do not hesitate to contact me!
